Here's the piece I put together for the Labyrinth's ambitious Iron Giant Project. Have you submitted your Iron Giant-inspired art yet?
This piece is all digital, done on my new Cintiq 12WX, which is a neat experience for me as I usually draw my line art on paper first and then just add colour/tone in Photoshop. You can see some steps of the process on my art blog. If you like what you see there, check out my other blog posts or the rest of my DA gallery. I can't believe it's been 10 years since the film was released. I remember exactly where I was when I went to see it in theatres and the effect it had on me was substantial.
