I've been keeping this under wraps, but the teaser website went up this morning so I can finally start showing off artwork from Legends of Zork!
Here's the first illo released to the public for the game. Special thanks to Christine Choi for her painting suggestions/palette help on this piece. Zork was one of the very first PC video games and was originally all text-based prompts. You can read about the game's history here: [link] Even though there were no graphics, the game had a great sense of humor and made you feel like you were part of a bigger world. It's been years since they last had an official Zork game and being able to be a tiny part of this game's history is a real thrill for me. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
